The Pro-Am will be held on July 31, August 1, 2, 3, 2008. The tournament will be held in Garden City, Kansas. The Southwest Kansas Pro-Am raises thousands of dollars each year for the New Born Intensive Care and Pediatric Units of St. Catherine Hospital. Set on two of the finest golf courses in the state, the event is hosted by one of Kansas' most friendly communities, Garden City. Professionals are invited to three days of great tournament play, all social events, and festivities.

FORMAT INFORMATION
Professionals will play a 54-hole scramble format alternating courses. Each professional will play with five amateurs Friday and Saturday. The final round, for professionals only, will be held Sunday at Southwind Country Club. The professional field will be cut to 40 and ties. Threesomes will tee off #1 tee starting at 9:00 a.m. Sunday. All professionals making the cut on Sunday will be paid a minimum of $450.

ENTRY FEE
The Pro-Am entry fee is $675, which includes free practice rounds prior to the tournament, as well as invitations to all social events and beverages on the course during tournament play. Entry deadline is July 25th and all cancellations must be received by 7:00 p.m. on July 28th for full refund. (No exceptions.)

PROFESSIONAL PURSE
The professional purse stands at a total of $82,500, with the winner collecting $15,000 and the top 26 places winning $1,000 minimum. The tournament pays through 40th place and ties.

WHEN TO REGISTER
All professionals are required to register at Southwind Country Club by 6:00 p.m. on Thursday, July 31st. If you plan to be late or need to make other arrangements, please contact the registration desk Thursday, July 31st at 620-272-2530 prior to tournament week.
